Batemans Bay offers you one of the best fishing locations on the South Coast of New South Wales. For Reef fishing the area is well known for its Snapper, Morwong, Flathead nearly all year round, with kingfish turning up around summer The Bay is also close to the continental shelf which offers Blue, Black and Striped Marlin during the first six months of the year. Yellowfin Tuna and Albacore are also a common catch.
